Tavolara

Tavolara, an island shaped like a lying cat, both from Olbia and arriving by ship, strikes for its majesty and grandeur, always leaving you speechless.

The island, rich in history and ancient and modern legends, is located on the north-eastern coast of Sardinia in front of the port of Olbia, it appears as a majestic limestone massif overlooking the sea.

Surrounded by crystalline and clear waters, it has spaces of transparent water called natural pools. Tavolara is part of the marine protected natural area Tavolara – Punta Coda Cavallo, which extends from Capo Ceraso to Isola Ruia, south of Capo Coda Cavallo, also including the islands of Molara and Molarotto.
